Don't have a car? Go Septa! You can still fish in Philadelphia!

Hello, readers! I've been getting all these frequent asked questions in my e-mail, and didn't have a chance to post them here. I came along one that will be very useful to people that use public transportation (in other words, Septa). Hopefully this will be useful for some people, or at least entertaining. Hah!

After reading this post, you won't have excuses to not fish, seriously! Saying that you don't have a car will be just another excuse...haha You will help the environment by going green (public transportation), and promote the sport with your gears! Think about it, huh?

Before you start reading it, some insign on SEPTA:
1. ALWAYS remember to check the schedules before you take any bus. They change from time to time!! So, check the website often!
2. ALWAYS remember to check the fare before you take any bus. Fares are different between buses, and there are different Zones to be taken in consideration!

1. "I live in Philadelphia, and I don't have a car - just like you. Do you have like a public transportation list of places to go fishing in Philadelphia?
Very good question! I never thought of posting a list of Septa transportations that can take people to fishing places in Philadelphia. When it comes to public transportation, people can really call me Septa Master! I've taken so many of them that I can go to nearly all bodies of water on Public transportation, and walking. So, here we go:
Note: Some of these places are shady, and I wouldn't recommend going alone. I'll mark a * next to them.
Note2: All the places placed here are "Fishable", meaning that there are spots to fish. There are many other public transportations that will take you to other parts of certain river/creek, but there are no spots to be fished!

First, I would like to say that Google Earth is a very good software for this kind of stuff. If you are willing to download it (which I would recommend any fisherman to do so), the link is below:

Best luck for all of us!
